Worker Killed At Drilling Site Near Yukon
YUKON, Oklahoma - An employee at a drilling site near Yukon was killed after getting pinned by a piece of equipment, Thursday afternoon.
Rescue crews were called out to the scene at a site belonging to the JDC Drilling Company, along Route 66 and Gregory Rd. just before 4 p.m.
According to a spokesperson with the City of Yukon, the victim, so far only identified as a 23-year-old white male, was crushed between a crane and a trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner has been called to the scene. Additional information about the incident likely will not be available until Friday.
