Edmond Police: Woman's Death Considered Suspicious
EDMOND, Oklahoma - A suspicious death investigation is underway after a woman was found dead inside an apartment in Edmond.
Investigators said a maintenance worker found 19-year-old Jennifer Kyli Molloy dead in her apartment near the UCO campus.
She was not a student at the university.
According to her family, Molloy was excited to be gaining her independence by getting her first apartment.
"She was just getting her stuff straight and she had her own apartment and then to find out that she is dead ... I just don't know how to handle it," cried Johnny Molloy Jr.
He said she lived alone in the Duke Apartments at 900 E. Wayne for a few weeks before her death.
Investigators said a maintenance worker discovered her body in the apartment about 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators spent four hours collecting evidence at the scene and said the death is considered suspicious.
Now, Johnny Molloy Jr. is remembering the last time he spoke with his sister.
"we didn't talk long, I told her I loved her and she told me she loved me," he said, although a brief conversation, those words will help him with the grief that lies ahead.
He described his sister as funny, kind and full of life.
Her family said she didn't have an enemies.
"If we do find out someone did something to her I want them found and I want them put away," said Ciara Todd-Cofer, Molloy's maternal aunt.
As a family, they are asking everyone to remember their loved one's life and not her untimely death
"She didn't deserve any of this she was kind and she deserves so much better," said Johnny Molloy Jr.
