OKC Police Search For A Suspect After Police Chase

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are looking for two suspects after a report of shots being fired prompted a police chase Wednesday night in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police were called to the 7500 block of Melrose Lane in response to shots being fired, police said. When officers arrived, a vehicle with no lights on drove away from the scene.

The vehicle crashed into several cars near Melrose Lane and MacArthur Boulevard.

Police said the driver of the vehicle was taken to a hospital while the passenger ran away from the vehicle.

A weapon was found in the vehicle and investigators think the vehicle was stolen.

Police have set up a perimeter and requested assistance from K-9 units and Air One.
