Copy-One Dead In Tulsa Highway Rollover Crash

A fatal rollover crash on Highway 75 just north of Interstate-44 shut down the northbound lanes of the highway for several hours early Tuesday.

Police were called just before 2 a.m. about a northbound rollover pickup crash near 41st West Avenue.

Officers say the driver, who was thrown from the truck was taken to the hospital by EMSA where he was pronounced dead.

Shortly after arriving on scene, police learned a Jeep which was related to the crash was disabled on the side of the highway about a mile north of the fatal crash scene.  That driver was detained pending the result of an investigation.

Police say one northbound lane remains closed at the crash scene while police investigate the fatal accident.
