Emergency Crews Respond To Report Of Drowning On Arcadia Lake

A swimmer, who was at first thought to have drowned on Lake Arcadia, has been found safe Monday afternoon.

According to authorities, Edmond firefighters and police officers originally responded to the report of a drowning at the Central State Park boat ramp on Lake Arcadia. A witness reported that his friend went under water and never resurfaced.

Crews arrived and found out that person was swimming and his friend had lost him. He is doing OK.
