Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in Chandler, Oklahoma, after a partially-burnt body was found at a mobile home park over the weekend.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office, at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the report that a man's body was found at a mobile home park, located at 347203 E. Highway 66 in Chandler.
Sheriff Charlie Dougherty said at a news conference Monday that three children were looking for their cat when they found the victim's body in a burn pit. The body was partially-burnt.
Sheriff Dougherty has not released the victim's identity, pending notification of family members. No suspects have been named.
The Sheriff said the man was last seen alive Saturday night.
