Guthrie Fire answered a call about a couch on the porch catching fire in Coyle early Wednesday.

When they arrived, the fire had fully involved the front of the house. Everybody inside the house at the time was removed safely with no injuries.

One of the responding engines out of Meridian rolled over in a single car wreck. It's a brand new fire engine for Meridian Fire Department. They do have other response vehicles but this was their only fire engine.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital with a broken arm and a shoulder injury. He has since been released. Another firefighter is still in the hospital, undergoing tests. His condition is unclear except to say his injuries are more severe than the other firefighter.

As for the fire in Coyle, Logan County deputies, Langston University officers, and Meridian, Woodcrest, and Coyle firefighters all responded.

The Coyle Fire Chief says they have been out to this house several times for fires over the last year and most have been suspicious in nature.
