Samsung's replacement phones for it's Galaxy Note 7 may not be safer than the recalled models.

Less than a week after introducing replacements for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, complaints are already pouring in. Some users in South Korea say their new phones are either overheating or losing battery power while they're charging.

The new Note 7's are meant to replace the old ones, which were recalled because their batteries pose a fire risk. A Samsung spokesperson says the issue is not related to batteries and involves a limited number of phones.

About one million Note 7's were recalled in the US. As of last Friday, Samsung says about half of those phones have been replaced.
