A Star Spencer High School dropout is wanted in connection with the killing of a convenience store clerk.

Midwest City police identified 17-year-old Samuel Myers as the suspect in the homicide of Salman Tahir.

Tahir, also known as "Sam," was working at GI's Market on Saturday when he was shot and killed.

The entire incident was captured by the store's surveillance cameras.

Investigators say the suspect, Myers, didn't wear a mask or gloves during the incident..

In an effort to find and arrest Myers, Midwest City police released the surveillance video Tuesday afternoon.

Chief Brandon Clabes said Myers walked into the store, lingered for at least six minutes, and even purchased a cigar.

When the store was clear of customers, the video shows the suspect pull out a gun and point it at Tahir.

He then went behind the counter, grabbed the money, shot out the surveillance monitor.

What happened next was not released to the public.

Clabes said Myers shot Tahir in the back, despite his cooperation with every demand.

"He is considered dangerous, " Clabes said. Clabes said Myers also has a violent criminal history.

In search for justice, investigators are working around the clock.

According to search warrants, investigators connected a silver Chevrolet Impala to the crime and tracked it down to a neighborhood southwest of the convenience store.

"We [officers] got in behind the car and it pulled into a residence," Clabes said.

Clabes said the people in the car ran into a house in the 700 block of Lloyd.

Court records show investigators searched the home and found a Glock 17 pistol under a loveseat cushion.

Investigators say they also found an extended magazine lying in the closet. One that matched the shell casings found at the crime scene.

"We feel it is probably the murder weapon," said Clabes.

The warrant states everyone in the home "denied knowing who owned the gun or how it got there."

Records show one of them was Myer's former classmate who was seen on surveillance video at the store the morning of the crime.

Investigators say that classmate helped put Myers at the scene of the crime.

"He is a monster," Tahir's friend Kelly Norris said. "How can someone be so soulless at that young of an age?"

Despite the suspect's youth, Tahir deserves justice.

Norris and his friends have launched a Facebook page in honor of Tahir's life.

They are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Myers.

At last check, Myers is still on the loose.
