Two Charged With Stealing $100K Worth Of Copper From OKC Business

Charges have been filed against two men accused of stealing about $100,000 worth of copper from an Oklahoma City business back in June.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office, 33-year-old Michael Weaver and 29-year-old Billy Doyle have been charged with stealing copper.

On June 10, deputies said about $100,000 worth of industrial grade copper was stolen from a construction business in the 4700 block of Midwest Blvd.

In August, the Sheriff’s office released surveillance photos of the suspects and their vehicle. The department said tips from the public were instrumental in leading deputies to the suspects, who were already in the Oklahoma County Jail on unrelated charges.
