More than a million Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones are up for recall out of concern the battery can catch fire. But not all owners are heeding the warning to put down their devices.

It appears most Galaxy Note 7 users are hung up on actually giving up their phones. According to data compiled by a mobile analytics firm about 87 percent of Galaxy Note 7s are still in use.

Samsung has announced details on its replacement plan for the Note 7. We're told replacement phones will be available at most retail locations by this Wednesday.

Owners can also trade their devices for a Galaxy s7 or s7 Edge and receive a refund for the price difference.

At least 35 fires have been linked to the faulty Galaxy Note 7s.
