Residents were evacuated after a reported roof collapse at an apartment complex on the southwest side of the metro, Saturday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called out to the scene at the Country Club apartments, located in the 5700 block of S. Agnew Ave.

The call went out as a roof collapse, but once crews arrived on scene they discovered the roof was damaged most likely by high winds.

No one was trapped inside the structure, but firefighters tell News 9 the residents in four or five of the apartment units will be without a place to stay because of the damage. It is unclear exactly how many people lived in the affected apartment units.
