Police: OKC Woman Hospitalized Following Domestic Violence Attack

Police say an Oklahoma City woman has been unconscious for two weeks, since her live-in boyfriend attacked her in their apartment September 3.

According to police, 40-year-old Tony Jamel Wilson bludgeoned the 53-year-old victim in the head with an object at Aspen Way Apartments in NW Oklahoma City. 

Wilson claimed that his girlfriend “fell in the shower,” and that she “had fallen at work two weeks ago”, but police said his claims didn’t add up.

Cledith Davis is a neighbor who called 911 after hearing arguing and a loud scream September 3.

“My heart goes out to the family, and I pray she gets better, and if not, I hope the family can ease their pain in some kind of way,” he said. 

Police arrested Wilson for domestic violence, possession of a firearm, and resisting arrest. He remains in the Oklahoma County Jail on $200,000 bail.
