Semi Driver Killed In Rollover Wreck On EB I-44 Near Penn.

The driver of a semi that rolled over on the eastbound side of Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City died in the crash, authorities tell News 9. 

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash on eastbound I44 near N. Penn. Ave., just before 4 p.m. on Thursday. Authorities shut down EB I-44 at Penn. Ave. at 4:30 p.m., while crews worked to clear the roadway.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation re-opened the roadway around 8:40 p.m.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, but wind gusts may be to blame. The semi was the only vehicle involved.
