You can make a huge impact on the lives of Oklahoma children in need.

The Regional Food Bank's backpack program serves hundreds of Oklahoma schools, making sure students have meals on the weekends.

This year at the Oklahoma State Fair, News 9 will once again be collecting donations to this great cause. We will be out at the fairgrounds every day from September 15-25th under the big white tent just inside gate one.

Visit the booth between 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. for a chance to meet some of your favorite News 9 anchors, reporters, meteorologists and storm trackers. Plus, you will want to try out our new News 9 photo booth!

You are encouraged to join us in the fight against childhood hunger by donating to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids program. One in four children in Oklahoma is chronically hungry and just $1 can provide 5 meals to those in need. Remember no donation is too small.

With your donation, you can place it in the box of the News 9 anchor you would like to see kiss a pig!! That’s right, when you visit the booth, drop your donation into the anchor boxes to cast your vote on who you want to see pucker up!

All visitors at the News 9 booth 18 years of age or younger can play the News 9 Prize Wheel to win great free prizes. Also, adults who donate $5.00 or more to the Food for Kids initiative can play Plink-O for their own News 9 gear plus enter to win our Gas Giveaway Contest for a chance to win $1,000 in gas courtesy of OnCue. All proceeds benefit the Food for Kids Program.
