Arrest Made In OKC Man's Death

Oklahoma City police arrested one person in connection to a man’s death.

According to police, 27-year-old Derek Keith Blacker was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder in connection to the death of 52-year-old Jay R. Creacy.

At about 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, officers responded to a possible deceased person inside of a home in the 1200 block of S.W. 33rd Street. When officers arrived, they found Creacy dead, with trauma to his body consistent with homicide.

An arrest warrant was later issued for Blacker. He was arrested at a home in the 2200 block of S.W. 77th Street, and is now being held at the Oklahoma County Jail without bond.
