Lincoln Co. Deputies Searching For Murder Suspect Near Tryon

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a murder suspect in a rural area in northern Lincoln County, Thursday evening.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office tells News 9 Jeremy Tyson Irvine is on the run and armed with a rifle. Deputies are searching for Irvine in the area if E. 0800 Rd., between County Roads 2410 and 3420, just to the southeast of the town of Tryon, Okla.

Irvine is described as a white male, approximately 5’ 9” tall and weighing about 174 pounds. He was seen wearing blue jeans and a gray shirt.

Residents in the area are advised to stay inside and keep window and doors locked. Irvine is considered armed and dangerous.

UPDATE 12:27 a.m.: Lincoln County Sheriffs say the manhunt has ended. Irvine called to turn himself in. Officers went to meet Irvine at a home where they are talking with him right now.
