Crews Respond To Multi-Vehicle Crash On NB I-235

Emergency crews are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the northbound side of Interstate 235, Thursday afternoon.

First responders were called out to the reported 4-vehicle wreck on NB I-235 just to the sought of the I-44 bridge.

Authorities tell News 9 one person was transported from the scene by ambulance to a local hospital in unknown condition. There are no other reports of injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. All of the vehicles were able to get to the shoulder of the highway, and only caused a minor delay for traffic. The damage does not appear to be significant.
