Police Investigating Bank Robbery In NW OKC

Police are responding to a reported bank robbery in northwest Oklahoma City.

Officers were called out to the First Fidelity bank located near NW 122nd St. and N. MacArthur Blvd. According to police, a black male dressed in a gray sport coat, a dark hat, sunglasses and a bandana covering his face, robbed a teller at gunpoint just after noon.

The suspect is described as being approximately 6' 3" and weighing 200 pounds.

The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and is believed to be traveling in a dark colored minivan. The FBI’s Oklahoma City field office is investigating the crime. Anyone with information is asked to call the OKC FBI offices at (405) 290-7770.
