The Dodgers’ three-game winning streak came to an end as the Redbirds took the first game of a four-game set between the teams.

O’Koyea Dickson hit his second home run of the night in the bottom of the ninth inning, but that would account for Oklahoma City’s final run of the night.

Dickson finished the game 3-for-4 with two homers, three RBI and two runs scored.

The Dodgers (75-60) took the game’s first lead in the first inning.

Micah Johnson led off with a single for the Dodgers. He advanced to third on an errant pickoff attempt and scored on a RBI groundout by Chris Taylor for a 1-0 Oklahoma City lead.

Memphis’ Bruce Caldwell hit a RBI triple in the top of the second inning to tie the game, 1-1, and he scored on a sacrifice fly by Matt Williams to give Memphis a 2-1 advantage.

A RBI single by Dickson knotted the game, 2-2, in the fourth inning for the Dodgers.

The Redbirds loaded the bases with two outs in the top of the fifth inning and Dodgers starting pitcher Alfredo Figaro issued a bases-loaded walk to Carson Kelly to put Memphis in front, 3-2.

Dickson led off the bottom of the seventh inning with a solo homer that sailed beyond the Budweiser Deck in left field to tie the game, 3-3.

Back-to-back doubles by the Redbirds’ Carson Kelly and David Washington in the eighth inning pushed Memphis ahead, 4-3. Matt Williams later connected on Memphis’ third double of the inning to put the Redbirds in front, 5-3, bringing home Washington.

The Redbirds loaded the bases with no outs in the top of the ninth inning for Efren Navarro who connected on a RBI single for a 6-3 advantage. Carson Kelly and Washington followed with back-to-back two-run doubles to push Memphis’ lead to 10-3. Matt Williams later added a RBI single to score Memphis’ sixth run of the frame.

Dickson belted his second home run of the game out to left field in the bottom of the ninth inning to cut Memphis’ lead to 11-4.

The Redbirds outhit the Dodgers, 15-8, as Oklahoma City allowed double-digit runs for the first time since a 10-7 loss Aug. 4 against Round Rock.

In his second start with Oklahoma City, pitcher Alfredo Figaro went six innings, allowing three runs and six hits with three walks and no strikeouts.

Reliever Josh Fields (1-1) was charged with the loss for the Dodgers, allowing two runs and three hits in the eighth inning.

Entering Monday’s game, the Dodgers bullpen had allowed just one earned run (two runs total) over 24.1 innings (seven games), but gave up eight runs, all earned, Monday night.

Memphis reliever Ryan Sherriff (7-1) earned the win, holding the Dodgers scoreless over two-thirds of the seventh inning.
