Arrest Made In OKC Man's Shooting Death

Police have arrested one person in connection to Oklahoma City’s 51st homicide of 2016.

According to police, Jimmy L. Simms, 21, was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder in the death of 52-year-old Greg Hill.

Hill was found shot outside an apartment near N.E. 26th Street and Lindsey Avenue in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 27. He was transported to OU Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police arrested Simms at a home near N.E. 29th Street and M.L.K. Avenue. He is being held at the Oklahoma County Jail. A bond has not been set.
