Authorities have arrested a driver who ran away from the scene after hitting a pedestrian on Interstate 40 near Interstate 240 in Oklahoma City.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash happened Saturday night in the westbound lanes of I-40 near I-240 and Choctaw Road. A female victim was hit by a vehicle, and the driver ran away from the scene.

Troopers said the woman did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

The OHP confirmed Monday morning that the driver, later identified as 44-year-old Kenneth D. Fultz, has been arrested on complaints of driving a motor vehicle without a license, a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence, improper lane use, and leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury.

Fultz is being held at the Oklahoma County Jail. His bond has been set at $7,500 on each count.
