Authorities Search For Suspect After Injury Crash On I-40

Authorities searched for a suspect Saturday night after an auto-pedestrian crash on Interstate 40 near Interstate 240, troopers said.

The crash happened Saturday night in the westbound lanes of I-40 near I-240 and Choctaw Road.

A female victim was hit and the driver ran away from the scene. The driver was last seen running into the tree line.

Police said the woman did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Oklahoma City police assisted troopers in the search, but the driver was not found.
