Enid Police have arrested a registered sex offender accused of passing thousands of dollars in forged checks but a search of his cell phone revealed an even more sinister crime.

Authorities took Thunder Cloud Garza into custody after they found his cell phone had graphic video and images of Garza with children. Now they are trying to track down any parents of young children who may have had contact with him or who he befriended on social media.

"In our mind this guy is monster," said Captain Jack Morris with Enid Police Department.

Morris said this is one of the more disturbing crimes he and his detectives have had to investigate.

This is not Garza's first arrest. He was convicted of raping a 13-year old girl when he was 19 and raping a 14-year old girl a year after.  Court records show Garza was sentenced to prison for the crimes in 2012 but released in January of this year. He was also arrested for a current lewd molestation allegation that was reported in June.

"We believe this guy really doesn't need to walk the streets anymore he is a danger," said Captain Morris.

According to police, Garza would try to friend parents on Facebook and offer to watch their children as a way to give them a break. That is when Garza would victimize the children. Police say he even recorded some of his disturbing encounters.

Enid police are reaching out to anyone who had contact with Garza and allowed him to watch their children, hoping to identify potential victims and to identify the children in the videos on Garza's phone.

If you or anyone you know has information about Garza, please contact the Enid Police Department at 580-242-7000 and ask for Sgt. Albright.
