One Dead After One-Vehicle Crash In Cleveland County

CLEVELAND COUNTY, Oklahoma -

One person is dead after a crash Tuesday evening in Cleveland County, the sheriff's office reported.

The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. A 1998 Dodge van was driving eastbound on Cemetery Road between 84th and 96th streets near Slaughterville, deputies said.

The vehicle left the roadway to the south and hit a cedar tree.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant in the vehicle, deputies said.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The victim's name was not released Tuesday night.
