Oklahoma City police have identified a driver who left the scene after crashing into a city bus Monday morning.

According to police, four people were injured in a collision involving a city bus and a car at N.W. 6th and Classen. The driver of the car, later identified as 43-year-old Christopher Gaston, reportedly ran away from the scene following the crash. He was later arrested.

Police said Gaston’s friend took him to the Mission Treatment Center. However, when his friend went into the clinic, Gaston reportedly stole the car and crashed it into the city bus. He was later found hiding in a back room at the clinic.

Gaston was arrested on multiple complaints, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription.
