Arrest Warrant Issued For Suspect In OKC Man's Shooting Death

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection to the shooting death of another man Wednesday night in northeast Oklahoma City.

According to police, Jamieon D. Adams, 24, is wanted on a first-degree murder complaint in connection to the shooting death of 23-year-old Reynold Ranard Walker.

The shooting happened about 9:20 p.m. at a home in the 2000 block of N.E. 29th Street. Police said Walker was inside of the home when two men knocked on the door.  When the door was opened, the two suspects walked into the home, found Walker and shot him.  The suspects then left the scene.

Walker suffered one gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to OU Medical Center, where he later died.

Thursday morning, police identified Adams as a suspect in this case. Witnesses said they the second suspect never fired a weapon. That suspect has not been identified.
