Griffin Communications To Air 2016-17 6A, 5A High School Championship Games

Good news for high school football and basketball fans, the Class 6A and 5A championship games for both sports will be broadcast live by Griffin Communications. 

“Oklahoma’s Own Griffin Communications is committed to serving Oklahomans by providing high quality, local programming and there is nothing more local or more Oklahoma than high school sports. Today’s agreement is a win-win for both Griffin and the OSSAA,” said David Griffin, Griffin Communications Chairman and CEO. “We are excited to be able to showcase some of Oklahoma’s best football and basketball players as they chase a championship.”

The high school football championship games will air live December 2, 2016 on the following stations:

6A-I Norman North vs. Tulsa Union airs on KWTV-News 9 at 7pm. 

6A-II Bixby vs. Lawton airs on News 9 Now, Cox Channel 53. 

5A Bishop McGuiness vs. Carl Albert airs on KSBI, Cox Channel 52.
