CHICKASHA, Oklahoma -

An Oklahoma man was arrested Wednesday after reportedly leading Chickasha police on a chase into town.

Just after 8 p.m., a Chickasha police officer had someone pulled over on the east side of town.

Dashcam video showed a blue Scion whiz by in the right lane. The officer said it almost struck his cruiser and other vehicles when changing lanes.

The footage showed the officer pick up the pace and finish that traffic stop to go after the Scion.

The probable cause affidavit said he had to drive 90 mph to catch up with the vehicle driven by 28-year-old Anthony Harvey.

Even with lights flashing and sirens sounding, the officer said the Scion would not pull over.

Finally, the video showed them turning down 6th Street and stop in a convenience store parking lot.

“Stick your hands out the window!” the officer told the driver.

The officer walked up to the vehicle with his weapon drawn.

“What are you doing? Keep your hands out the window,” he repeated.

But the officer said Harvey did not listen to his instructions and "continued to dig through his car."

"Hey, don’t reach for nothing [sic], you understand me? Undo your freaking seat belt,” he said.

Body cameras rolled and with the door open, the officer said he saw a black handgun on the left side of the driver's seat within Harvey’s reach.

So he and his partner reportedly grabbed and tackled Harvey before taking him into custody.

A woman who was in the car with Harvey told officers he had smoked synthetic drugs and was not himself.

Records show Harvey’s warrant was for not showing up to court in Oklahoma County for a case where officers reported finding drugs on him. He also had a revoked license, according to police.
