According to police, at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, possibly a 2012 GMC Sierra, while crossing the street near S.W. 48th and May Avenue. Police are looking for a pickup truck driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in southwest Oklahoma City.

According to police, at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, possibly a 2012 GMC Sierra, while crossing the street in the 4800 block of S. May.

The driver, police said, left the scene without stopping to help the victim. Witnesses told police the driver went northbound on May after the crash.

On Monday, police released a photo of a vehicle similar to the one the suspect was driving. The suspect’s pickup truck would have extensive windshield and front-end damage.
