YUKON, Oklahoma -

Yukon police have reunited an exotic tortoise with its owner Saturday night.

The tortoise was found Saturday afternoon at the Yukon City Park.

Through news broadcasts, friends told the owner that her missing tortoise was found. Rebecca Funa, of Yukon, and the tortoise have been reunited. 

The tortoise is believed to be an African Spurred Tortoise that is native to the Sahara desert.
