A Rogers County man is frustrated that a sex abuse case has been going on for three years and there's still no resolution.

Ellen Pittser was charged with giving alcohol to teenage boys and having sexual contact with them. Her ex-husband believes this case would've been treated much differently had this been a man accused of doing the same thing to teenage girls.

"If you want to have your child's friends come over and have sex with them, we won't do anything to you, it's perfectly fine,” said Travis Pittser.

Travis feels that is the message the justice system is sending to women who sexually abuse children.

He says when it's a man, justice seems faster and harsher.

"It's a problem that needs to be stopped,” Travis stated. “Our judges, DA, the entire system as a whole has got to say, ‘enough's enough.’"

Travis says his world imploded when he learned his wife of 13 years had sexual contact with teenage boys at their Inola home three years ago.

He says she has gone on living her life like nothing happened and the case has seen one delay after another.

Her attorney says she is going to accept responsibility and plead guilty later this month. She could get anywhere from probation to 20 years in prison.

"She needs to be held accountable,” said Travis. “She needs jail time. She needs help. That's another thing, there's been no counseling, no treatment."

Her attorney says that was a dark time in her life and she is no longer that person. He plans to ask the judge for probation.

The DA tells me, they plan to ask for prison time. We’ll keep you posted.
