Non-Profit Organization 'ServeMoore' Needs Help

The nonprofit that got its start helping families rebuild after the May 2013 tornadoes, admits it needs help to stay open.

ServeMoore is trying to raise $38,000 to cover operating expenses and additional project costs until 2017 grant money arrives.

“We need to build a bridge from now and then,” said ServeMoore Executive Director Chris Fox.

“We are hurting because our economy is hurting,” added Fox.

ServeMoore has mobilized more than 57,000 volunteers for 4200 projects in three years.

Its goal is to renew neighborhoods with things like painting homes and building handicap accessible ramps.

“We need to come together to save this mission and keep this work of renewal going,” says Fox.
