Pot, Guns, Cash Found At Home Of NW OKC Shooting Victim

An Oklahoma City man, shot in the driveway of his own home, will head to jail on drug charges after he’s done recovering in the hospital.

Police were called out to the shooting at a home in the 12000 block of Arrowhead Dr., located near NW 122^nd St. and the Lake Hefner Parkway, around 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

Investigators suspected drug activity might have played a role in the shooting, and obtained a warrant to search the home.

Once inside police found approximately 43 pounds of marijuana, four rifles and three handguns, ammunition, scales, packaging and processing equipment, paraphernalia and $28,000 in cash.

The suspect, 26-year-old Jesse L. Chastain, is expected to be booked on one count of Trafficking Marijuana After a Former Felony, one count of Possession of a Firearm After a Former Felony, and Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property After a Former Felony.

Police do not know if the shooting was connected to the drug activity at the home. The suspects remain at large.
