OKC Police Look For Suspect After Stolen Car Found In Lake

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police are looking for a suspect after a stolen car was found in Lake Overholser early Tuesday morning.

According to police, officers responded to the report of a car being stolen near N.W. 10th and County Line Road. Shortly after, they received another report that the stolen car has been found in Lake Overholser in the 9900 block of N.W. 23rd Street.

The car was found 25 feet from the shore in roughly five feet of water.

Fire officials learned that one person got out of the car and left the scene before authorities arrived. No one was found inside the car, and no injuries were reported.

Officers and AirOne searched for the suspect in the area. Police do not have a suspect description at this time.
