Baby Safe After Police Recover Stolen Vehicle

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are looking for a car thief after officers recovered a stolen vehicle with a baby inside.

The car theft happened Sunday afternoon in northeast Oklahoma City. A parent called police and said he left the key in the car's ignition when he was at a convenience store near NE 10 and Interstate 35 when his vehicle, which had his baby inside, was taken.

The vehicle was found near NE 10 and Midwest Boulevard with the baby inside. The vehicle was not running and the baby was not harmed.

Police have not released a suspect description of the thief.
