Patients From Children's Center Honor Firefighters

Patients at The Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany honored local firefighters on Thursday.

They used arts and crafts to decorate water bottles and presented it to the Bethany Police Department.

This is part of a mission project with Vacation Bible School. Many of the children spend their days and nights at the hospital, so they brought bible school to them. The mission allows the kids to give back to the community in a fun way.

The celebration with the firefighters was beach themed. There was music, a photo station, and a lot of smiles. Many of the children were excited to see their local heroes and  fire trucks.
