Mobile Home Destroyed, Pets Killed In Fire

OKLAHOMA CITY -

At least seven dogs died in a fire that destroyed a mobile home in northwest Oklahoma City, firefighters said.

The fire happened shortly before 1:55 p.m. Saturday at 15505 Pamela Road.

When Oklahoma City and Richland firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the trailer home and two vehicles consumed by flames.

Firefighters found one adult dog and six puppies dead inside the home. 

Three firefighters were treated at the scene for heat-related illness. 

Firefighters do not know the cause of the fire.
