A small earthquake shook up residents near Perry, Oklahoma in Noble County late Thursday afternoon.
The 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 4:33 p.m. Its epicenter was located 11 miles east, northeast of Perry, 17 miles north of Stillwater, and 22 miles south of Ponca City.
It was about a mile deep.
At this time, no residents have reported any damages or injuries associated with this earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
