OKLAHOMA CITY -

A burglar throws a brick through a glass door, but all he took was cigarettes and beer.

It happened just after 5 Friday morning, at the Petro Plus 4 Conoco on I-44 and Kelley in NE Oklahoma City. The bandit gained entry into the store by throwing a brick through the front glass door.

Several surveillance cameras recorded the thief as he filled a large bag with Newport cigarettes. He then grabbed a cold 12-pack of Budweiser, before scampering away.

Store Manager Rex Rogers said replacing the front door will cost more than 600 dollars.

“It’s expensive. We’re a family-owned business. We’re not a big corporation. We don’t belong to Conoco,” said Rogers.

Petro Plus 4 is well-known in the area for the very tasty fast food items, including their very popular gyros they make fresh daily.

“Chili dogs and Frito pies, if you ever had one of those Frito pies, they’re the real thing,” Rogers said Friday.
