A Tulsa man is in jail after police said he fired shots at his ex-girlfriend early Sunday. Christian Omar Morales was booked on three counts of shooting with intent to kill and one count of possession of a controlled drug.

Police were called to the 3200 block of East 29th Street South after someone reported a disturbance. The victim told officers Morales was chasing her in a car, shooting several times.

The ex-girlfriend eventually crashed into a parked car while trying to escape Morales, an arrest report states. The arrest report does not say if she or her passenger were injured.

Police said the 21-year-old man was arrested at the woman's home.

When questioned about firing at the car, Morales reportedly told police, "She's my woman, I can do what I want." Officers said they found generic Xanax in his back pocket.

Morales is being held on a $230,000 bond.
