Victor Oladipo to Wear No. 5 For Thunder, Singler Switching to No. 15

Victor Oladipo to Wear No. 5 For Thunder, Singler Switching to No. 15

The Oklahoma City Thunder will have a new-look roster when they take the court next season, and with new players, comes new jersey numbers. The team announced via twitter on Thursday that Victor Oladipo will wear number 5, while Ersan Ilyasova will wear No. 7 and rookie Domantas Sabonis will wear No. 30.

Kyle Singler previously wore No. 5, but he will be switching to No. 15 this season. The number was notoriously worn by former Thunder center Kendrick Perkins during his tenure in OKC, but now the torch has been passed to Oladipo. Both Royal Ivey and Grant Jerrett most recently wore Ilyasova's No. 7, while Sabonis will be the first player to wear No. 30 since the Thunder moved to Oklahoma City.
