Authorities are searching for two suspects in a high-speed chase who fled on foot following a crash on westbound Interstate 40 in Caddo County, Thursday afternoon.

The suspects were fleeing OHP Troopers in a White Chevy pickup, eastbound on Interstate 40 near Weatherford, Okla., but got off the highway around Hinton, Okla. and started heading back westbound on Route 66. At one point the the two suspects bailed out of the vehicle near Highway 281.

A third possible suspect then continued westbound on I-40, where they eventually crashed out at mile near the town of Hydro, Okla., at mile marker 88. OHP has shut down the westbound side of the highway at the site of the wreck while crews work to clear the scene.

It is unclear what prompted the pursuit, but scanner reports indicate the suspects were driving a stolen vehicle. The two suspects who bailed from the pickup were wearing black T-shirts and jean shorts. They have not been identified.
