OKC Man Arrested, Accused Of Lewd Acts With A Child

Canadian County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Oklahoma City man accused of lewd acts with a child.

The investigation began after Yukon police discovered 22-year-old David Haddock out with two 14-year-old Yukon girls at 3:00 a.m. on June 23. Officers say Haddock had provided alcohol to the girls.

Investigators say Haddock began texting one of the girls in early May.  Police say Haddock met the teenage girls at the skating rink in Yukon, had contacted the girls multiple times and would often hang out at the skating rink.

“Skating rinks attract kids, and predators hang out where kids hang out,” said Christ West, Undersheriff of Canadian County.

Police say Haddock admitted to going over one of the girl’s houses in the middle of the night on two separate occasions. He also told investigators that the girl would sneak out to meet with him. 

Haddock told investigators he discussed being in a “dating” relationship with the girl and said he had kissed her and performed “other sensual acts” with her. 

Police say Haddock admitted he knew what he was doing was wrong because of the girl’s age.   

Haddock was booked into the Canadian County Jail.  His bond is set at $100,000.
