Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant was named to the 12-man 2016 U.S. Olympic Men’s Basketball Team, it was announced earlier today. Durant is now set to make his second Olympic appearance.

Durant finished as the U.S. team’s leading scorer at the 2012 London Olympics by averaging a U.S. Olympic record 19.5 points a game. Additionally, Durant won MVP honors when leading the USA to gold at the 2010 FIBA World Championship.

This past season, Durant averaged 28.2 points (third in the NBA), 8.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists to become the first player since Michael Jordan (1988-89 season) to average 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

The U.S. Olympic roster includes Carmelo Anthony, Harrison Barnes, Jimmy Butler, DeMarcus Cousins, DeMar DeRozan, Paul George, Draymond Green, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, Kyle Lowry and Klay Thompson.

The 2016 Summer Olympic Games will be held Aug. 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and it will feature twelve nations in the 2016 Olympic men’s basketball competition.
