One In Custody After Pursuit In OKC Metro

One person is in custody after leading multiple law agencies on a chase in the Oklahoma City metro.

The pursuit started Wednesday night on Interstate 35 near NE 10 Street. The white pickup went east on Interstate 40 and crashed through a fence in a backyard of a vacant Del City home.

A Del City police officer found the person in the backyard and detained him. 

Oklahoma City police took the person into custody. 

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were also involved in the pursuit and search.

It is unclear why the person ran away from police or why they were being pulled over.
