The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) was led on a high speed chase around Oklahoma City, Midwest City, Del City and Choctaw in May. And troopers’ attempts to stop the suspect were caught on patrol dash cameras.
It happened just after 1 a.m. May 2, when an OHP trooper tried to pull over a black truck near 27th and Walker, but the suspect didn’t stop.
Dash cam video shows troopers trying to end this thing several times with tactical moves, but some of them don't work.
In one of the attempts, a patrol car rides up the driver side of the suspect’s truck before a rough landing.
It comes to an end after more than 90 minutes near OU Medical Center.
The suspect’s truck caught fire and 32-year-old Dudley McCoy was pulled from the vehicle.
OHP said he was treated and released for his injuries and then booked into jail.
In one of his latest court appearances, Dudley pleaded not guilty to the nine counts filed against him.
No troopers were hurt, but patrol cars were damaged.
