Suspect Eludes Law Enforcement After High-Speed Chase In NW OKC

A suspect in a white BMW managed to get away from law enforcement officials after a short chase on northwest side of the metro, Wednesday.

A US Marshal was pursuing the suspect when they crashed near the intersection of NW 50th St. and N. May Ave.

The US Marshal’s vehicle and at least three other vehicles were involved in the crash. The BMW is not believed to have been involved in this crash. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Authorities have not said why they were pursuing the BMW. No suspect information has been released at this time.

Traffic is down to one lane on the westbound side of NW 50th St. while crews work the scene.
