Langston University Foundation Replaces Grad Student's Stolen Textbooks

The Langston University Foundation will replace a student’s textbooks after a burglar stole them from her car.

Leslie Nelson said a burglar broke into her car Tuesday night at her home and took her briefcase.

Nelson said she was recently let go from her job at a local school because of budget cuts, so she decides to go back to college. She recently started classes at Langston University a little over a week ago.

Nelson said the value of all that was stolen was more than $1,000.
