Police: One Killed, One Injured In Overnight Shooting In SW OKC

Oklahoma City police are looking for a suspect in connection to a shooting that killed a man and injured a woman early Wednesday morning. 

According to police, it happened at about midnight in a neighborhood in the 2300 block of S.W. 55th Street. A crowd was standing outside when a male suspect walked up to 28-year-old Calvin P. Wells and shot him.

Wells was transported to OU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Amber Santi, 23, was transported to the hospital, suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

This is Oklahoma City's 32nd homicide of 2016, according to police.
